Our Story

"Newari cuisine is a distinct Nepali cuisine that is native to the Newar community of Nepal. It is known for its diverse range of dishes and flavors, and is considered to be one of the most sophisticated cuisines in Nepal. Some popular Newari dishes include: Yomari: a steamed dumpling filled with a mixture of molasses and sesame seeds, Chatamari: a thin crepe made with rice flour and topped with a variety of ingredients, such as minced meat, egg, and vegetables, Kachila: spicy, minced meat that is wrapped in a dough and deep-fried, Bara: a savory lentil pancake, Juju dhau: a type of yogurt that is considered to be the "king of curds" in Nepal."
